This is our third year here, and they welcome you like family. The fried calamari is the best in Lefkada. Everything else is top-notch. The waiter Spiros, with his Italian, helped us choose our dishes.

We had a big group there, the food was 10/10, the service was excellent! I highly recommend the seafood pasta; the portions are very generous. They treat you to dessert and limoncello at the end. Definitely recommend it!

I think my photo speaks for itself! We came here twice, one time both having the pork tomahawk which was HUGE! and another we had the beef stifado.

The tomahawk was super tender and delicious, I would suggest sharing this as the portion was too big.
The beef stifado was delicious and super tasty, it didn’t come in a bowl like I’ve seen before but it was super authentic.
The staff were constantly attending to people and made everyone very welcome.

We found this place online and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. We were not disappointed at all.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is professional and efficient, and the food is fresh, delicious, and served in generous portions.
A special thank you to Petros, our waiter, who was attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about his job. True hospitality like this is becoming increasingly rare these days.
This is the kind of place that has a soul and leaves a lasting impression. It's the kind of restaurant that makes you want to come back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Best seafood so far in greece. The portions are very generous and delicious. Spiros, who took our order, modified our platter the way we want it no questions asked. Highly recommended. Then they gave sweets on the house.

The atmosphere is very pleasant, the food is excellent, and the attitude was absolutely stunning (we had a certain situation, and almost the entire staff immediately helped us for free). I highly recommend the Basilico restaurant; we'll be there every vacation from now on 💚

Basilico in Lefkada is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. Teodoro, the owner, is a fantastic host who makes every guest feel special, and his wife and the entire staff are just as wonderful. The food is incredible—fresh, authentic, and truly delicious. It's clear that everyone at Basilico puts their heart into what they do. I can't recommend this place enough for a fantastic meal and an unforgettable experience.

The food at Basilico is delicious! And almost the cheapest there is, with many free extras like dessert and ouzo on the house.
The food was delicious, and we will definitely go back to try other things on the menu!

I really liked Basiliko Restaurant — one of the nicest places in Nidri! The food was excellent, very tasty, and everything felt fresh and well-prepared. I went twice and tried the sea bream, fried calamari, moussaka, and beef stifado — all were delicious. Great service too, and you can also pay in cash. Highly recommended 👌

Recommended 💯. Its definitely amazing, cozy, greatful restaraunt im Nidri. We have attended it at rainy day amd it was a bit chilly, but regardless the absence of covers the staff provided private jackets. 3 local shot drinks with really tasty desrt were provided on dinner complition. Thanks Basilico👍👍👍

Someone recommended this place to us, and with good reason — we were very pleased with the rich flavors of the dishes and the generous portions.
Besides what you can see in the pictures, we also had a bruschetta that was absolutely delicious. The complimentary dessert was a real delight! I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

We were for only one night in Nidri and we had the chance to choose Basilico Restaurant.
Let's share my impressions.
The location is on the central promenade, the atmosphere was nice, and last, but not least the food was great!
We ordered Pasta Bolognese and a Beef burger for the kids and they were both very satisfied.
We had Greek salad, Fried calamari and grilled sardines. Everything was great and enough. Honestly, the sardines and calamari were one of the tastiest that we've ever had.
The restaurant was definitely woth it...

The atmosphere at Basilico Restaurant was very pleasant and relaxing. The food was excellent, full of flavor, and definitely one of the highlights of the place. The service was good and the staff showed great hospitality, especially Petros who welcomed us with care and professionalism.
The only small downside was that the food took a bit longer to come from the kitchen, but it was well worth the wait considering the quality.
Overall, a very positive experience and definitely a place I recommend to anyone visiting Nidri. 🍴✨
